WCA Names Sisson Director of Development
Jamestown, New York (Monday, March 30, 1009)-Mr. Karl Sisson has been named Director of Development at WCA Hospital. In this role, Sisson will coordinate all development activities for WCA Hospital and the W.C.A. Foundation, Inc., which include fundraising drives, comprehensive capital and endowment campaigns, stewardship and donor recognition programs, and face-to-face appeals.
"Karl brings great enthusiasm and passion to WCA Hospital," explains Betsy T. Wright, FACHE, WCA Hospital President/CEO. "I am confident he will further our mission as he positively represents WCA Hospital to our constituents, while generating financial support for the present and future of our organization."
"I look forward to working closely with Karl to build for the future of WCA Hospital," adds Mrs. Florence Cass, Executive Director for the W.C.A. Foundation, Inc. "As a result of this coordination, I anticipate growing the endowment in the coming years in order to provide even more funding to the hospital on an on-going, annual basis."
Over the past ten years, Mr. Sisson has served as the Director of Development for Heritage Ministries (Jamestown), where he oversaw development, marketing, public relations, and special events for the non-profit organization. Previously, he served as the Director of Alumni Relations in the Office of Development at Roberts Wesleyan College (Rochester, NY) and as an Account Executive for Bradan Productions (Cleveland, OH).

"I look forward to building relationships which result in the advancement of this great non-profit organization, enabling us to better serve the community where I was born, raised, and now raise my own family. Mr. Sisson and his wife, Laura, make their home in Gerry where he was raised. They have three young boys – Carter, Zachary, and Isaiah. Mr. Sisson is a Certified Stewardship Professional, a Paul Harris Fellow as a member of the Jamestown Rotary Club, an active member of the Gerry Free Methodist Church, the President of the Gerry Cemetery Association, and serves on the Town of Gerry Parks & Recreation Committee.
