JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (Monday, April 3, 2017)—UPMC Chautauqua WCA ENT (ears, nose, and throat) has moved to the main campus of UPMC Chautauqua WCA, located at 207 Foote Ave., first floor, Jamestown.  The new location gives patients the added convenience and ease of hospital services just minutes away from the medical office.

Office hours at the center are Mon. to Fri., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Convenient patient parking is located in the Visitor’s Parking Lot adjacent from the front entrance of the hospital on Foote Ave. or the outpatient parking lot located behind the hospital on Sherman Street.  To schedule an appointment at the center, call 716-664-8515.

The ENT Center is under the medical direction of Mark Steehler, DO, otolaryngologist, on the medical staff of UPMC Chautauqua WCA.  Dr. Steehler offers expertise in ear, nose, and throat medicine and provides diagnosis, treatment, and surgical care from birth to senior aged adults. He treats illnesses from tonsillitis and; sinusitis, infections of the neck, and certain types of cancers.

Ancillary specialty services include, hearing and balance, voice, speech, and swallowing, sinus, nose, and sleep disorders, skull base tumors and head and neck surgery, audiology care, hearing aids, diagnostic imaging services, sleep services (adult and pediatric) and speech and hearing services.

“Our team of experts provides the most comprehensive care for ears, nose, and throat illnesses,” said Dr. Steehler, who graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.  “We care for the most advanced nonsurgical and surgical diseases. Many patients have difficulty swallowing, difficulty hearing or balance issues. All of these disorders can be treated at the hospital by a team of audiologists, speech therapists, and physical therapists who are experienced and skilled to help patients recover from their condition. We also treat sinusitis, sleep apnea, snoring, insomnia, and head and neck illnesses.”
