Photography Exhibit Featured at UPMC Chautauqua WCA Community Presentation April 13
JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (Sunday, April 9, 2017)—A photography exhibit, “Reflections on Lake Erie,” by Karen Glosser will be featured during UPMC Chautauqua WCA’s GIRL TALK—a free community presentation that will be held in the hospital auditorium., at 207 Foote Ave., Jamestown, on Thursday, April 13, 6 p.m.
Karen's work has been shown in numerous exhibits and her evocative photographs have been collected by patrons throughout the US and Canada.
A vendor show with more than 15 interactive demonstrations begins at 6 p.m.; physician presentation by Thomas Andrews, MD, credentialed robotic surgeon, starts at 7 p.m. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Visitor’s Parking Lot, adjacent from the front entrance of the hospital on Foote Avenue. Guests will meet the gynecology, robotics, bariatrics, ultrasound, and mammography health care teams of UPMC Chautauqua WCA.
Karen's work as a fine art nature photographer has led her to memorable places around the world. However, her native Western New York State remains her primary love and focus as she explores and captures the moody waves of Lake Erie and the silent woodlands near her home.
“We are over the moon excited to showcase Karen’s works,” says Linda Johnson, director of public relations at UPMC Chautauqua WCA and event coordinator. “Study has demonstrated that creative expression contributes to improved health and well- bring. We want to give the community an opportunity to appreciate the inspired works of local artists and encourage the community to join us to view the beauty of Lake Erie through the lens of Karen’s camera.”
