WCA Students Participate in Salvation Army Angel Tree Program

WCA Hospital

Jamestown, New York (Monday, December 20, 2010)—Photo Release—The students of the WCA Hospital School of Medical Technology, Class of 2011, recently raised funds to support a child through The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.  The Salvation Army’s Angel program brings Christmas to hundreds of local children who receive presents thanks to the generous donations from area residents and businesses who donate to the program.  “The students have been selling coffee and cookies in order to raise enough money to purchase the items from the Angel Tree,” said Michelle Harms, MS, MLS (ASCP), WCA Hospital program director for the School of Medical Technology.  “The students wanted to give back to the community during the holiday season and the Angel Tree Program has a direct impact on our local community and truly reflects the meaning of Christmas.” In photo WCA Hospital Medical Technology students, Class of 2011, from left, Megan Woodrull, Jessie Jandrew, Melissa Musil, Sarah Jochum, Brian Worthington, Jaclyn Burkhart, Alex Wesley, Courtney Davis.
