Jamestown, NY (Thursday, November 14, 2013)—This Sunday, November 17th, a group of local bowlers will host the inaugural Framed in Pink: Bowling Over Breast Cancer at the Fountain Bowl (3316 Fluvanna Avenue, Jamestown). Formerly known as “Bowl For A Cure”, this charity event will support local breast cancer care at WCA Hospital and pay tribute to loved ones who have battled this deadly disease.

“I think this is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of breast cancer here in our community,” says Sue Lamb, event coordinator. “We all have a loved one who has been battled breast cancer. We are committed to honor those loved ones, promote good breast health, benefit local breast cancer care, and have a good time!”

This bowling event will begin with a sign-in and basket raffle at 12:00 noon, followed by bowling at 1:00 p.m. In addition, Framed in Pink is accepting donations for pink tribute frames that will be displayed in honor or in memory of loved ones who have battled breast cancer.

There are only thirteen individual spots remaining. If you are interested in bowling, please contact Sue Lamb immediately at (716) 484-8144.
