Framed in Pink: Bowling Over Breast Cancer
Limited Space Available in Support of Local Breast Cancer Care

Jamestown, NY (Monday, October 6, 2014)— Sunday, October 19th, a group of local bowlers will host the Framed in Pink: Bowling Over Breast Cancer at the Jamestown Bowling Company (850 Foote Avenue, Jamestown). Formerly known as “Bowl For A Cure”, this charity event will support local breast cancer care at WCA Hospital and pay tribute to loved ones who have battled this deadly disease.  The bowling event is a 9-Pin No Tap, $15.00 per person includes three games and shoes.

“Bowl in honor or in memory of a loved one,” says Sue Lamb, event coordinator. “I am sure everyone knows someone who has battled breast cancer.  I think this is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of breast cancer here in our community.  We all have a loved one who has been battled breast cancer. We are committed to honor those loved ones, promote good breast health, benefit local breast cancer care, and have a good time!”

This bowling event will begin with a sign-in and Chinese Auction at 12:00 noon, followed by bowling at 1:00 p.m. In addition, Framed in Pink is accepting donations for the basket raffle.  In addition, Framed in Pink is accepting $10.00 donations for pink tribute frames that will be displayed in honor or in memory of loved ones who have battled breast cancer.

The event is for all ages.  Bowlers can sign up as a single or team up with two bowlers or more.
