Southside Blue Devils Midget Football Raises Money for LINKS Pink Walk

WCA Hospital

Jamestown, New York (Tuesday, October 28, 2014)—Photo Caption Press:  The Southside “Blue Devils” Midget Football members recently teamed up to raise funds for the fourth annual LINKS Pink Walk to be held at the Chautauqua Mall on Saturday, November 1st, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.  Football team player, Joshua Zielinski, came up with the idea to raise funds after realizing that two of his coaches’ wives were being treated for breast cancer.  The Southside Midget Football players, who have dressed in pink attire in acknowledgment of breast cancer awareness month, have raised the funds from donation drives at Sears at Chautauqua Mall and Friendly’s Restaurant; a donation drive during their last home football game; and selling pink tribute links at their home games. Pictured, from left football members, Caleb Abbey, Jonah Tonkins, Joshua Tonkins, Peyton Olson, Joshua Zielinski, Jovan Lopez, Matt Rhodes and Jordan Lopez collect donations at Sears.  Absent from photo, Angelo Ciancio.  To register or make a donation to LINKS Pink Walk, please feel free to call Linda Johnson at 664-8614 or email
